Sunlight Air, a Philippines-based boutique airline, has announced the addition of a new ATR 72-600 aircraft to its growing fleet. This newly acquired turboprop marks the airline's first fleet expansion for 2025, enhancing its capacity to serve regional destinations across the country.

The ATR 72-600 aircraft is set to enhance the airline’s operational capabilities with improved avionics and fuel efficiency, crucial for its short-haul regional services.

CEO Ryna Brito-Garcia expressed enthusiasm about the fleet expansion:

"As we enter the new year, we find that there are more growth opportunities that come with the continuous increase in passenger demands. This is only the beginning of an exciting year."

Sunlight Air currently operates flights from Manila, Clark, and Cebu to popular tourist destinations such as Boracay, Coron (Busuanga), Siargao, and Cagayan de Oro. The new ATR 72-600 will support existing routes and facilitate potential network expansions, offering travelers more options for inter-island connectivity.
